Budapest, the vibrant capital of Hungary, is a city that beautifully blends history, culture, and stunning architecture along the banks of the Danube River. Known as the “Pearl of the Danube,” Budapest offers visitors a rich tapestry of experiences, from medieval castles to lively markets and world-renowned thermal baths. From Vienna we sailed to Budapest, Hungary and spent a few days there. Many fellow travelers exited the boat here as their final destination. Only twenty of us stayed on board and then the boat filled up again with new passengers to continue the journey.
