We decided to make our way back to Fort Myers to have more warranty work done on the RV. Suwannee River, White Springs was about a 4 hour drive from Blackwater State Park.
Blackwater River State Park, Florida
From Bella Terra we went to Blackwater River State Park. It opened in 1968 and totals about 600 acres. A destination for canoeists and kayakers.
Bella Terra of Gulf Shores, Alabama
Bella Terra is a private RV resort in southern Alabama. It was a chance to receive our mail and catch up on bills, phone calls, and emails. Bella Terra is an upscale Class A motorhome retreat. It has a luxurious 6,000-sq ft clubhouse with its distinctive decor, private movie theater, fitness center, and expansive lake views.
Gulf State Park, Coastal Alabama
We were only here a couple of days, and it rained quite a bit, so we did not have much time to explore the area. Gulf State Park is known for its extensive boardwalk and paved trails that bicycles can use. There is also a very long pier for walking, fishing, and viewing the sunsets.

Gulf Islands National Seashore preserves the natural and historic resources of the Gulf of Mexico barrier islands from Florida to Mississippi. The protected regions include mainland areas and parts of seven islands.The Gulf Islands have a long history of settlement, conflict, and abandonment.
